I'd vote for a third party candidate who was the most qualified rather than a Republican or Democrat simply because they managed to get the nomination and belonged to my party. What's so great about being a lemming and following the pack when the packs headed off a cliff?

People vote for third party candidates when they are dissatisfied with the idiots propped up by the two major partys. They refuse to fall for the standard drivel like "don't waste your vote on a candidate who can't win."
