Well, first of all you have to keeps yours under control. It's hard. Then stick to your guns. Try to guide him through his anger. Put him in a place where he can "settle". down . Then when he's calm try to get him to talk about what made him angry and how he can deal with it better next time. Good Luck.

Give him positive reinforcement. Talk to him and steer him away from the negative. If you lose your temper then that is how he sees to do it. Keep him away from people who lose their temper and if that is not possible then explain how it is wrong when they do lose their temper.

sometimes little children will do anything to get in trouble. the thing is that they can't do this on their own. they had to follow somebody. the best way to handle this situation is by being a role model to the kid and teach him how to stay calm when people bother him.

#1 Lead by example
#2 When you see him start to get angry - direct him on how to calm down. Sit him down, talk very softly to him, tell him to take some deep breaths and encourage him to talk about what is making him so angry!

can you enroll him in a sports program or martial arts classes? Maybe he just needs a physical outlet for excess energy, which now comes out as bad moods/foul temper.
