Do you think "wow they are a bad parent" or "I feel so sorry them."
I guess it depends more on how they react to the tantrum. If they stand there yelling at the child telling them to stop it, I think yeah that’s bad parenting. If they give in to the child and give them what they want, yes that is bad parenting and will only encourage future tantrums. If they are picking the child up to take them home, they are dealing with it well. If they are ignoring the tantrum and not reacting to it at all that is possibly one of the best things they can do to prevent future trantrums.

Hi everyone, is it normal for a 1 year old to have a full on temper tantrum? Mine truly does seem to have them lately a lot. And yes, it absolutely IS a tantrum. How do you handle a tantrum in a baby that young? I want to nip it in the bud before he gets older. Thanks for your help.
My one year old is trying this too. I usually just ignore him. Sometimes that stops the tantrum. But if that doesn’t work, I get his attention on something else like one of his favorite toys.

As even the most liberal democrats are wakening up to Obama’s inability to understand finance He is starting to show frustration because they do not follow him without question. Soon the opposition will have the momentum to really pressure Him and then the sparks wil start to fly. Will the media report it or try and cover it up?
With Disney owning the majority of the media, I’m sure it’s already happened and edited out quite quickly. Personally, I’d much rather see Michelle having one on camera. That’s gonna come, too. Once the news reporters have the gag order taken off with respect to asking B.O. challenging questions, we may see some action. But I don’t see that happening in my lifetime.
Too many people and corporations have waaaay too much money invested in the chump, and they’re going to protect their interests. Punk or no punk, he’s still their Golden Boy and his strings are pulled by the behind the stage puppets.

my son is 16 months. and throws temper tantrum when we say no to him.
Depends, if you are in public I say distract. If you are at home and don’t mind him wailing then I say ignore.

I learned this song in kindergarden and now i am graduating and my class wants to play it at graduation. Since we've been together since kindergarden.
i can't find the lyrics anywhere, but you might want to try downloading it and trying to figure out the lyrics from there.

Not a modern flat-panel TV, but an old analog non-DTV-ready TV set
I'm not a parent, but I know of someone whose 3-year old son did that.
How one would respond to this is entirely dependent upon the age of the child.

My friend is a cancer and I told him I might be able to help him cook dinner yesterday. Unfortunately I got called into work. I told him I couldn't come because I was called into work. You would have thought him being a mature adult he would understand, but he just hung up on me.
only if i'm forced to do something i feel uncomfortable with or if i feel that a friend is rejecting me. my brother is also a Cancer, and he DEFINATELY would throw a mini- temper tantrum over something like that! when he was with his girlfriend he'd pace up and down obviously p*ssed off like mad if she couldn't see him for any reason. i think it's more Cancer GUYS that have the tantrums.

That evil elderly grandmother that dictates to North Korea has announced that they will withdraw from the six party talks and restart its atomic weapons program… Obama is not doing so well handling North Korea… How should Obama and the UN should deal with North Koreas latest tantrum?
Throw a pizza party?
Adopt a dog?
If that doesn't work maybe he should just surrender and welcome his communist overlords the way he really wants to.
